Corporate Memberships

We recognize the important role many organizations play in making a positive impact in the lives of patients. As a corporate partner in healthcare, Sanofi US provides support to national or regional health-related organizations or medical/scientific or trade associations that permit corporate members. To optimize our funding, we try to limit our corporate memberships to areas where we have significant interest and expertise.

In order to be eligible, the organization must benefit patients or the general public along with serving the interests of its own membership. Corporate memberships must be a recognized category according to the organization’s bylaws, charter or other guidelines. Exclusive memberships where Sanofi US is the only corporate member are not permitted.

What you should know

Requests for corporate memberships cannot be tied to the prescribing or purchasing of any products, whether it is past, present or future prescribing/purchasing activities. Should the request for corporate membership be tied in any way to the aforementioned purchasing or prescribing of products, the application will be rejected and it may not be resubmitted.

Before you apply

Before you begin the application process, please be sure to have the following information available to make the process more efficient:

  • Federal tax ID number for your organization
  • Information on the organization
  • Valid email address
  • List of the organization’s Board of Directors and executive officers
  • The estimated percentage of dues spent on federal lobbying as defined by LDA (Federal Lobbying Disclosure Act)

Please be sure to apply well in advance of your funding needs as the application review process can take 12 to 16 weeks but a response within this timeframe is not guaranteed. Sanofi US will not fund activities or programs after the start date has passed.

Process for application

All requests for corporate memberships must be submitted through our online application. Once the online process has been completed, you will be notified by email that your application has been received. You may also be contacted if there are any follow-up questions during the review process. All applicants will be notified of our decision by email. While we receive many qualified and deserving applications for corporate membership, we regret that we cannot fund all of them due to the limited nature of funding. All applicants receive a fair review and we encourage organizations to reapply for future programs and initiatives.
