Sanofi US is committed to patients, public health and our people. At Sanofi US, we are proud of our achievements and recognition in areas including scientific innovation, patient advocacy and workplace environment. Below are highlights of some of these awards, achievements and rankings.

CORPORATE RECOGNITION

Sanofi was ranked #61 in Barron's Most Respected Companies - 2016. Barron’s rankings are determined by an annual survey of institutional investors.


Forbes

In the 2016 Forbes Global 2000, which ranks the world’s biggest companies, Sanofi is #89. The ranking is based on four metrics including sales, profits, assets and market value.


Sanofi is #233 on the 2016 Fortune Global 500. The Fortune Global 500 is an annual ranking of the top corporations worldwide as measured by revenue.


PhRMA Logo

In March 2016, Alok Goel, a Sanofi Senior Manager in HR Operations and Special Projects, was honored for his efforts in policy advocacy and community service, receiving a PhRMA We Work For Health Champions Award.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Dow Jones Sustainability Index Logo

For the 10th consecutive year, Sanofi was distinguished in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World), the most widely recognized international CSR index. Sanofi is among seven pharmaceutical companies retained by the index (of 66 selected). For the second time, Sanofi also was included in the DJSI Europe, which is even more stringent than DJSI World.


Newsweek Green Rankings Logo

In 2016, Newsweek ranked Sanofi #140 in their Top Green Companies in the World list. Newsweek partners with Corporate Knights Capital, HIP (Human Impact + Profit) Investor Inc., and other nongovernmental organizations to rank the 500 largest publicly-traded companies on corporate sustainability and environmental impact.


Patents for Humanity Logo

For the second year in a row, the U.S. Commerce Department’s United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recognized Sanofi as a recipient of its prestigious Patents for Humanity program.

It is an annual competition from the USPTO that recognizes businesses, inventors, non-profits and universities that use their intellectual property portfolio to tackle global humanitarian challenges. In 2016, Sanofi was proud to have received an Honorable Mention for our commitment to anti-malarial drug development.


Best Places to Work Logo

Sanofi US is proud to be named as a Best Place to Work and receive a 100% rating from the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index. Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

Dave Thomas Foundation logo

Sanofi continues to be recognized as one of the top 100 companies that go the extra mile to provide adoption benefits in the workplace by the Dave Thomas Foundation’s Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace.


RideWise logo

In 2016, Sanofi received the Ridewise of Somerset County 2016 Platinum Award, which is given to companies for creating programs that provide and promote commuting options for employees.


CEO Gold Standard Logo

As of 2009, Sanofi has been accredited as a CEO Cancer Gold Standard employer. The CEO Cancer Gold Standard™ is a workplace-based wellness accreditation program that provides a framework for employers to lower the risk of cancer, detect it early, and ensure access to high-quality care.


World At Work Logo

Sanofi is the recipients of the WorldatWork Alliance for Work-Life Progress 2017 Seal of Distinction for demonstrating leadership in workplace strategies that help employees achieve work-life balance.
