Sanofi US is committed to patients, public health and our people. At Sanofi US, we are proud of our achievements and recognition in areas including scientific innovation, patient advocacy and workplace environment. Below are highlights of some of these awards, achievements and rankings.

CORPORATE RECOGNITION

Sanofi was ranked #72 in Barron's Most Respected Companies - 2015. Barron’s rankings are determined by an annual survey of institutional investors.


Forbes

In the 2015 Forbes Global 2000, which ranks the world's biggest companies, Sanofi is #89. The ranking is based on four metrics including sales, profits, assets and market value.


Sanofi is #241 on the 2015 Fortune Global 500. The Fortune Global 500 is an annual ranking of the top corporations worldwide as measured by revenue.


PhRMA Logo

In April 2015, Jason Pelletier, a Sanofi Area Business Leader in Vermont was honored for his contributions to the advocacy efforts of PhRMA, receiving a PhRMA We Work For Health Champions Award.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Top Green Companies Logo

In 2015, Newsweek ranked Sanofi #103 in their Top Green Companies in the World list. Newsweek partners with Corporate Knights Capital, HIP (Human Impact + Profit) Investor Inc., and other nongovernmental organizations to rank the 500 largest publicly-traded companies on corporate sustainability and environmental impact.


Healthier Generation Logo

In September 2014, Sanofi was honored to accept the Alliance for a Healthier Generation inaugural Corporate Hero Award, recognizing the enormously important roles that companies, individuals, organizations and communities play in improving the lives of children. Founded by the American Heart Association and the Clinton Foundation, the Alliance empowers kids to develop lifelong, healthy habits.


Children's Health Fund Logo

In June 2014, Greg Irace of Sanofi US received the Children’s Health Fund Corporate Award for the company’s innovative and committed support. Irace became Chair of the CHF Corporate Council in 2013, which seeks to expand the number of companies that partner with CHF to support their mission of ensuring all U.S. children have access to quality healthcare.


CSR Sustainability Monitor Logo

Ranked #2 in 2014 Baruch College's CSR-Sustainability Monitor study, which examined the corporate social responsibility reports of 614 of the biggest companies in the world and ranked them on a scale of zero to 100.

Cancer Action Network Logo

In September 2014, The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, recognized Sanofi for its significant efforts to reduce the burden of cancer. The Donald A. Gemson Cancer Prevention Public Policy Award was presented to Edward Greissing of Sanofi US. The Gemson award highlights the importance of leadership for broad-based policy change in the fight against cancer.

Dow Jones Sustainable Indicies

Sanofi has been recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices DJSI World for nine consecutive years. In 2015, Sanofi reached a score of 86 out of 100 and was among five pharmaceutical companies selected for the DJSI Europe, a first in the company's history. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices assess companies' economic, social, societal and environmental performance in 24 distinct areas. Sanofi is recognized as best-in-class in several categories including Strategy to Improve Access to Drugs or Products, Health outcome contribution, Bioethics, Social Reporting and Stakeholder engagement.


Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations

In January 2015, the Corporate Knights Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations named Sanofi to their top 100 list. Corporate Knights looks at a company's energy use, emissions, water use, waste generated and factors pertaining to financial stability and management practices when determining rankings.


Global Health Impact Logo

In January 2015, the Global Health Impact Index announced that Sanofi placed #1 on its first index ranking pharmaceutical companies. Sanofi was recognized for efforts in tuberculosis and malaria.

Great Expectations Logo

In 2014, Sanofi US was recognized by The Center for Great Expectations as Humanitarian of the Year. The award was accepted by John Spinnato, President of the Sanofi Foundation for North America, and Brandi Robinson, Vice President of North America Communications.

Christ the King Logo

In October 2014, Christ the King Prep in Newark, NJ, presented Sanofi US and the Sanofi Foundation for North America with the 2014 Cristo Rey Award for Sanofi’s support of providing corporate internships for CTK students.


Patents for Humanity Logo

The U.S. Commerce Department's United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) named Sanofi one of 10 recipients of its prestigious "Patent for Humanity" award. Sanofi was recognized for its patent that covers an innovative chemical and industrial process for a malaria treatment. Sanofi received the award during a ceremony at the White House on April 20, 2015.

WORKPLACE ACHIEVEMENTS

Dave Thomas Foundation logo

Sanofi US, for the sixth time, was named to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption's 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces list. In 2015, Sanofi US was recognized as No. 48 overall and No. 4 in the pharmaceutical industry category. The rankings, compiled from an annual survey of U.S. employers, are determined by an analysis of each company's adoption benefits, including the maximum financial reimbursement and the amount of paid leave provided for employees who adopt.


Best Employers Logo

In June 2015, Sanofi was honored for the third year with the National Business Group on Health Best Employers for Health Lifestyle® Award, which recognizes employers for their ongoing commitment to promoting healthy work environments and encouraging workers to live healthier lifestyles.


RideWise logo

In 2015, Sanofi received the Ridewise of Somerset County 2015 Platinum Award which is given to companies for creating programs that provide and promote commuting options for employees.


CEO Gold Standard Logo

As of 2009, Sanofi has been accredited as a CEO Cancer Gold Standard employer. The CEO Cancer Gold Standard is a workplace-based wellness accreditation program that provides a framework for employers to lower the risk of cancer, detect it early, and ensure access to high-quality care.


AHA Fit-Friendly Worksite Logo

Sanofi is an American Heart Association Fit-Friendly Worksite, a designation from the American Heart Association in recognition of employers for their progressive leadership and concern for their staff who go above and beyond when it comes to their employees’ health.


ESGR Logo

Sanofi has been recognized by Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve as a company that supports their Guard and Reserve employees. Employer support enhances retention rates in the Armed Forces and in the end, strengthens our national security.


World At Work Logo

Sanofi is the recipient of the WorldatWork Alliance for Work-Life Progress 2015 Seal of Distinction, for demonstrating leadership in workplace strategies that help employees achieve work-life balance.
