Sanofi US Responds to Urgent Community Needs

Times of crisis or disaster can bring out the best in humanity. Stories of neighbors helping neighbors and communities rallying around emergency responders and healthcare professionals, inspire all of us when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ultimately, we all want to do our part to support and protect one another during this challenging time.

The communities in which we live and work are part of the fabric of our organization and they need help. In response to the current crisis, to date, Sanofi US has donated a total of $425,000 to aid in relief efforts. A few of those actions include:

  • Americares & Direct Relief International: Funds donated will help support 1,000 free health clinics around the country with personal protective equipment, training, gear and counseling for frontline workers.
  • Life Science Cares: The organization created a special COVID-19 fund to disperse one-time emergency grants to their 36 non-profit community partners serving the needs of vulnerable populations throughout the Boston area.
  • U.S. Coronavirus Crisis Response Fund: Administered by the Pocono Mountains United Way and a committee of business and community leaders, crisis funds will be granted to community partners in Swiftwater and Monroe County.
  • Community Foodbank of NJ: As a primary responder to disaster relief in New Jersey, funding will go towards increased food production and distribution to the elderly and the underserved across the state.

We’re committed to working together with national and community-based organizations to make a difference. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the healthcare professionals and first responders who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, selflessly working every day to keep all of us safe.
