Deborah Glasser

Head, Specialty Care, North America, and U.S. Country Lead

Deborah Glasser, Head of Specialty Care, North America, and U.S. Country Lead is responsible for the company’s specialty care business in the U.S. and Canada.  Inspired by Sanofi’s vision of chasing the miracles of science to improve people’s lives, she and her team are dedicated to bringing best-in-class medicines in the areas of greatest unmet need across immunology, neurology, oncology, rare diseases and rare blood disorders to the U.S. and Canada.

Deborah joined Sanofi in 2022 as the Head of Vaccines, North America. Among the many accomplishments of this team during her tenure in support of protecting public health was bringing a first-in-class preventative option against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) for babies.  Prior to joining Sanofi, Deborah spent 13 years with Biogen, most recently as the Senior Vice President for the Alzheimer’s Franchise.  Throughout her career, Deborah has focused on conditions with great unmet patient need, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and Multiple Sclerosis.  Her experience also includes building from scratch an EU biosimilars business.  Earlier in her career, Deborah held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, market research and brand marketing with Abbott Labs, now AbbVie.

Deborah earned her MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her B.A. with honors from Tufts University.
