Patient Advocacy at Sanofi in the U.S.

A People-Centered Approach: U.S. Patient Advocacy at Sanofi

Patients are at the center of everything we do. We deliver on our mission to build a healthier, more resilient world by partnering with patient advocacy groups and community organizations to help increase access to innovative medicines, vaccines, and care. Sanofi is dedicated to supporting initiatives that amplify patient voices and improve health outcomes for all.

Listening, Acting and Leading for Patients

Sanofi listens to the patient advocacy community to understand what matters most to patients. Through this, we act  to support their missions, ensuring patients have equitable access to the care they need, and innovating how we help advocates connect, share, and learn from each other.

Patient Advocacy Community of Practice (CoP)

Sanofi’s Patient Advocacy Community of Practice brings together advocates from multiple therapeutic areas to connect, share what works for patients, and accelerate the impact of their programs for patients. This community discusses critical topics and emerging technologies that affect and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their organizations.

Advocates from more than 140 US organizations have participated, helping each other do more for patients.

Patient Advocacy Voices Podcast

This new podcast amplifies the voices from the patient advocacy community, sharing actionable insights from advocacy leaders to address gaps in care and make the US healthcare system work better for patients.

Each month, Eric Racine, Head of US Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy at Sanofi, talks with the unsung heroes leading patient advocacy organizations and discusses how their programs are driving change for patients.

Health Equity Acceleration

Sanofi believes all people deserve equitable access to transformative medicines and vaccines and we know many patient advocacy groups share this goal. They are the experts working every day to improve health equity for underserved patients and communities throughout the US. Listening to our partners we also know that many gaps remain, and that Sanofi could help by supporting new approaches.

Have a story or key learning you’d like to share? We invite advocates united in our vision to create a healthier world to connect with us here.
