Sanofi partnered with the Novartis US Foundation and Beacon of Hope program to address racial disparities in health and education, and to create greater diversity, equity and inclusion across R&D in the pharmaceutical industry.
Sanofi announced a collaboration with Howard University College of Pharmacy for a two-year post-professional Doctorate in Pharmacy fellowship program. Sanofi's goal is to hire fellows into permanent full-time positions at the company, marking the first time a Howard University College of Pharmacy industry partner has committed to post-fellowship employment.
In December of 2022, Sanofi was recognized with the Reuters Pharma US Delivering Inclusive Studies Award for our intentional and proactive approach to Clinical Trial Diversity & Inclusion.
This award reflects the dedication of all colleagues across Development who go above and beyond, working tirelessly to deliver inclusive clinical trials and Sanofi's "All-In" commitment to improving health disparities and outcomes of historically underrepresented communities. We continue to ensure our clinical trials reflect the patient populations we treat, particularly underrepresented people of color, women, older adults, and other marginalized individuals.
Sanofi was also awarded a “Gold Badge”, the highest rating possible, from Bioethics International within their Good Pharma Scorecard, which ranks companies on ethics and social responsibility performance criteria, focusing on issues that are critical to patients and public health.
