A Million Conversations

A Million Conversations, Sanofi’s global initiative, works to bridge the healthcare trust gap within historically under-supported communities across the U.S.

A Million Conversations:
Playing Our Part to Rebuild Trust

People need healthcare systems – at all levels – to better reflect society.
So, we must listen to historically under-supported communities more and use those insights to help the healthcare industry, policymakers and governments to fix the causes of these trust gaps. Our global poll reveals a legacy of distrust in healthcare systems amongst historically under-supported groups, such as ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities. In response, Sanofi launched ‘A Million Conversations’, an initiative to bridge that gap by directly engaging with those communities and investing €50m to help close the trust gap substantially by 2030.

Trust, Inclusion & Equity (TIE) Summit

The TIE Summit is Sanofi's annual gathering that brings together employees, policymakers, clinicians, community leaders, and patients to address healthcare disparities and advance health equity. Through keynote presentations, collaborative workshops, and meaningful dialogue, participants explore strategies for building trust, fostering inclusion, and creating a more equitable healthcare system. The summit serves as a catalyst for action, bringing diverse voices together to co-create solutions that ensure quality healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance.

Through the "Helping to Empower Active Living" (H.E.A.L.U.S.) Project, Sanofi is helping to create Health Hubs in rural communities to:

  • Improve health literacy in historically under supported communities
  • Promote self-advocacy and empower individuals to engage with healthcare providers
  • Decrease health disparities in chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease
  • Support the creation of telehealth hub sites at A.M.E. Zion Churches

By investing in local training, integrating with health systems and leveraging corporate expertise, we're creating lasting health improvements and building trust with communities across the US.
