Brooke Nelson

Vice President, Ethics and Business Integrity, NA and Specialty Care

As Sanofi's Vice President, Ethics & Business Integrity, North America and Global Specialty Care, Brooke Nelson oversees all aspects of the compliance program for this region and global business unit. Sanofi Specialty Care is focused on rare diseases, rare blood disorders, neurology, immunology, and oncology. The NA and Global SC E&BI team partners with and advises each of these franchises, as well as all of North America, which includes Sanofi’s General Medicines and Vaccines units. This team also provides compliance program elements, including governance, investigations, monitoring, risk assessment, training, guidance, and operations. 

Prior to Sanofi, Brooke was the Chief Compliance Officer at Verily, an Alphabet company advancing precision health with clinical, scientific and tech expertise. Brooke spent most of her career in both the Compliance and Law groups at Amgen, most recently as Executive Director of Compliance, where she was responsible for compliance governance, including the Corporate Responsibility and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors, overseeing the global investigations, monitoring, and hotline programs, and managing compliance with Amgen's Corporate Integrity Agreement.  She was also an attorney at Paramount Studios and O'Melveny & Myers. 

Brooke received her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Washington and is admitted to the State Bar of California.
